Platinum...!!!!

The colour really gets the heads moving and the mouths talking...

It's not completely silver, with a tint of gold (hence the name platinum)... looks great when a car with HID lamps aims there beams straight into the paintwork... its got depth, thicker than the metal work... looks 3D at times, and people can't help but look and stare :D

My current IS200 is my second one in Granite sky.

TBH, I wanted a black one until I seen Steve advertising his and then I jumped at it.

In the end I now think that Granite sky is the right colour because as I said, this is my second IS in the same colour and I haven't got bored of the colour yet!!! :D

Still wouldn't say no to black though.

Agree totally - someone (can't remember who, may have been John), said to me all we had to do was show it the spondge and its clean.

Black is da b :tsktsk: s though if polished up nice and proper.

Its a hard choice, cos every time I see a different coloured IS i think to myself should I have gone for that colour!

but here is what me and my 20 odd mates think!

1 Black

2 Silver

3 Granite / Blue

4 Red

5 Green was voted the worst colour !

I saw one near work a few months ago. At first i thought it was a bit hot, a Red Lex on a V reg (I swear the colour wasnt out til 02)?! then I realised he had forgot to rebadge the centre caps

Strathcarron Blue for me - It's the colour Lexus were using to advertise the Lexus when I bought my car - so they obviously thought it was best.

I looked at a Plat Ice and the Strath Blue side by side in the show room and there was no comparison.
