Sewell Lexus - Dallas

Some time ago I asked a US colleague to pick up a TRD rear strut brace from Sewell Lexus in Dallas, Texas and then bring it over to me when he visited the UK (Sewell don't ship overseas).

He didn't manage to get across to the UK so he posted it instead.

When the package arrived last week, I thought errr, looks a little short to be a strut brace........it was a rear shock absorber! :duh:

I called my buddy and asked him (he's not a petrolhead and had no idea what a strut brace should look like) to take up the issue with Sewell.

Anyway I heard back from him today - Sewell have agreed to send the correct item to him, they don't want the shock absorber returning to them and they have also agreed to credit him for the international postage.

How is that for excellent service? :D :D :D

They didn't do international when I contacted them the first time. Maybe they've changed. Anyhow they are an example of excellent service.
