Would Colour Coding A Trd Grill Be Sacrilege?

As much as I love my carbon fibre effect genuine TRD grille, I think it might look a little out of place on a Platinum Ice car.

Used to have quite a bit of carbon fibre on my black BMW 528 Sport, but don't really think it goes so well on a silver car.

Hmmm.

Should I spray the CF surround (and leave the mesh black) or try a different grille? Have seen a couple of cheaper fibre glass copies on eBay.

Opinions please!

Whilst very tempting, a vented bonnet probably wouldn't get past the missus without her noticing :D

Might be getting a couple of other small embellishments, so would get the grille sprayed at the same time as them :)

Why mate? Surely it would be cheaper to just paint it? Most people debadge the Lexus one's anyway so they end up looking just like a painted TRD grille - I always liked the badge though and wish it was bigger

thats just my personal preference. i have a 'sport' grille on mine cos my IS is a sport, and it looks like it belongs there, maybe i'm a purist at heart.

Right, I'm with you - I've got to admit I did wonder why I didn't get it with the car as standard seeing as it was a Sport model!
