Tyres Ruin Handling?

This is the low down.

Took car into tony bones at watford 2 weeks ago. Left there, car handled excellently, well impressed.

Had 2 rear tyres replaced last week because they failed MOT.

Skint so had two cheapies put on there.

Handling is now terrible. The rear feels wooly, insecure, complete opposite from what it was like before.

Tyre size hasnt changed, pressure is ok.

Can changing to cheap tyres really make such a difference?

I think I have top quality Typhoon Alpha :whistling: or something equally exotic! :D

I've done about 1000 miles on them now, and it is feeling better. whether this is due to the tyres having been run-in now, or me just getting used to them I dont know!
