Help On Wideband O2 Sensor

I am about to install the SAFCII and that using the wideband O2 sensor is a must if you are not going to get it dyno tuned.

Anyone has experience installing these?

What brands are good? (I would need something that can log the data as well)

I did a quick research and see that it seems to come with the 02 sensor plug. Do I need to install this into the exhaust manifold?
