i made one out of a bmw325 cover i robed after it was discarded for an lpg conversion im gona try and get pic up tomorrow dont look to bad

i desiened it and got my mate to weld it then had the welds buffed out

toped off with a universal cone to hack the horspower and a bit of samco to garnish cos me about as much as a shop bought one but its a 1 off

Hello Fatbillslim!

I was googling arround and saw your is200. Let me say its awsome.

I saw that you have converted your is200 to use LPG :D. I have been thinking on converting my is200 but I am afraid that that this engine has the problem of valve and seat valve failure when running wn lpg :P

I have been looking for a while about other people that have dane the same thing, but I can't find "real" cases of people that have "lpg'ed" its is200.

I think that the first case I found of IS200 converted to lpg it was yours :), so I was wondering if you could tell me if you had any kind of problems with the engine, mainly prolbems related with the valves.

It would be very good if you could send me some information about the system you use, something like:

type of lpg system

size o lpg tank

do you additional lubrification for valves(flashlube)?

miles done since lpg instalation

mileage on lpg

problems you had after lpg instalation

If you an do a short workshop writeup .. that'd be great! I'm sure i can find some 325 covers around!!!! (actually.. maybe quite a few!!!)
