Need Some Help Please

Going to be changing the cam belt at the weekend. Can anyone tell me if this is the tensioner for the belt that drives the pumps.

Plus should I be replacing anything else like cam belt tensioner pulley etc.

Yes it is mate.

I've done it about 6 times since fitting my supercharger (have to remove this belt to change the alternator belt ;)) ... piece of cake.

Unless theres obvious signs, no.

Cambelt change... thats something i haven't done, should be good for while longer :)

Just topped 61K miles, the cam belt is due at 100,000Km which is 62.5K miles give or take. Some of the mileage recorded is probably Km before the speedo was converted so actual may well be less

Wondered about tensioner as it gets replaced on the IS at the same time as the cam belt.

Done loads of cam belts before but never a dual VVT so I will be taking a bit of care

Not sure tbh on the cambelt... I think i'll be paying to get that one done!

Will be doing my belt and all pulleys in the next few days. Looks straightforward. Dual as single, just line the cams to there respective marks.
