Ok ive got in the car this morning, and all is fine, no ABS light & no flashing TRC light :duh: , should i bother still getting it checked out , could this be the result of the pads being worn??

no not a result of the pads being worn - no electrical contact at all - just a little piece of metal that will make a bit of noise when you brake
