Tried Maplin - they don't do the auto stuff. Also tried every car spares shop in the area without success.

Managed to get 1m from a local ICE distributor but he needed the rest of roll to finish a job.

It's the black coloured. split, corrugated stuff, about 8mm dia. I only need another 1m or so just to tidy up my new loud horn wiring.

How about using some nylon braid instead with black heatshrink.

ah if thats the stuff i thought you meant the plastic stuff. I can only get 12 - 14 mm corrugated but can get miles of fibre braid

Closest I can find (in the RS catalogue) to what Mike's after is PMA COFLEX Retro-Fit. Expensive, though, and probably a bit big too (smallest is 18.7mm outer diameter!).

For braid, try here (plastic braid) or here (metal braid).

As Mr Singh pointed out, stop the ends from fraying with heat-shrink sleeving.
