Mk 1 Engine Misfire

My engine has started misfireing rough idleing loss of power worse when cold ive looked at vac pipes and they are ok shes ok at high RPM rest ECU no change,

anyone has any ideas thanks.

I had a similiar problem with my Supra many years ago and it was nothing more than dirty HT leads. Try giving them a good clean before you spend money and wipe out the inside of the dizzy cap as well.

check the dizzy cap and rotor arm, mine was disgusting

Thanks guys, done the dizzy eta, running crap when cold, took her upto temp and she started running normal now, but who knows in the morning.

Got Lexus Wolverhampton picking her up in the morning to giver a looking at, their such nice people and concerned about my car. What a service and fast.

She needs a new rotor arm and maybe a new sensor or two.

Its a shock to the system to have your LEXUS act up :shutit: :shutit: . felt ill all day and work folk takin the pee. "oh yea very nice"

I had a similar problem in my 98 GS300 a while ago, dealer replaced a fuel injector.

Lexus Wolverhampton has got it sorted, New plugs, HT leads, rotor arm, Dizzy cap, and tested engine on the computer shes now a babe again £435 :shutit: incl picked up and delivered back.
