Debadged

Debadged the car yesterday.....the glue at the back was a :tsktsk: to take off, got blisters on my fingers...should have really used something other than soapy water :shutit:

Got all the glue off but at some angles i can very faintly see the out line of the badges..i used stage one on it but its still there....any one got any ideas as to how i can get rid of it??

Also the sports grill, has anyone taken the backing plate from the 'sport' badge off, or is this actually part of the grill??

I debadged mine some time ago - then got some more and put them back !

I thought it looked very bare without them. IMHO I think some motors suit debadging and some don't.

When I replaced mine with gold plated badges I used Safe Cut by Turtle Wax to remove the faint marks. Did a great job.

Yeah, Stealth is the new bling.

If you're really smart you'll use the company Mr. Morse used - they're free; they come round to your house (even in the middle of the night) - they're called "Chavs-Away" I think
