I'm gonna cry, my LS won't wake up. :crybaby:

Some t*** put a Gemini Falco immobilser on it at some stage which has always been a pain and today its finally packed in. The problem is I can't start it and i'm at work. I'm gonna take a work car home luckily and get it looked at tomorrow.

I'm gonna kill that immobilser when it gets removed from my car.

Does anyone know how easy a job this is? I've found the unit. It looks cheap and nasty. :crybaby:

Please feel sorry for me...

Isn't an immobilser for motorbikes? I would have thought to remove any immobiliser you may need specialist help if it's doing anything more than cutting a wire - and I would hope on the LS it is.

I'm 99% positive its an aftermarket thing, not a factory one.

Theres a red flashing light on the steering column and you have to press the round fob (no markings on it)to make it stop flashing, which can take ages. If anyone knows about these nasty things any advice is welcome. It seems to stop the car by disabling the starter circuit. It works really well as the car's definitely immobilised.

It's the only non-lexus thing on the car and it's broke, typical.

I've got to drive a people carrier home from Bournemouth to Warminster in a minute. :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

Heres a cost effective tip,

Previously I have had a few immob fail on me and I have just called the AA out who disabled them for good ! If you got AA cover call them it is a breakdown after all !

Good Luck mate !

Thanks a lot for that, I didn't know if they'd know about that stuff or just offer to tow me to a garage.

My mate's coming to have a look tomorrow but if not i'll give 'em a call.

Cheers
