Respiratory routing

The lady on my satnav who gives directions seems to have developed a cough.

Anyone got any ideas?

It's more of a croak really.

Also she's been getting very testy of late. Yesterday she said "You missed the turning, you stupid sod".

I wonder if it could be PMT.

Yeah - mine does that too - I find myself telling her to "shut the fruit" up quite a lot!!

No. I didn't think it was that as the displayed route and logic work OK. I'll try it tomorrow.

Assume you have a CD-based system as mine, rather than DVD. Lexus tell me the new disc is due out in November.

Do you have any ideas how to get the code to place the unit into service mode?

No - I don't know how to put into service mode (I read somewhere you fick the lights on an off a few times while holding down certain buttons I think)

My dealer (Guildford) won't give me any privileged information because they know I like to fiddle with things. It was only in a weak moment that they told me where the satnav aerial is (it's built into the back screen).

The GPS reciever is actually placed under the rear shelf

I have no doubt you are right but the aerial on my GS is an element in the back window, lower driver's side. It has a separate cable feed from the rear pillar
