i have modified my clear ones and they are now black, but it still passed the mot. They have red bulbs!!!!! :huh:

Although it was done by a mate of mine, but he didn't question them :P

You can spray the insides with a light coat of black glass spray (a Fiver from the DIY sheds). It does reduce the brightness with standard bulbs, but used in conjunction with a bulb like the 3X brightness Prolarg, the effect will be stunning!

Not for the faint hearted :sick:

I cut the lense off and sprayed the chrome part of the light fully black (same black as my car) and then siliconed the lense back on. So it has a clear lense but the inside is completly black, doesn't reflect much but looks good. Only problem is when i cut them up a small part of the chrome could not be sprayed, but it just leaves a thin chrome ring around the edge.............

this is what mine look like..............
