Register the name!

I've had a look on 1&1 (the guys that hosted my Rugby Forums) and have come up with a price for the names i want, but it's offering me Domain Suggestions as well. And i have no idea what these are, let alone if i need them.

What i'm doing is registering every variant of the name (i.e. .com .biz etc etc), and thats all i want to do now.

Can someone help me out here with some advice please?

(Also i'm looking for a site designer, so if you fancy doing that for a fee, let me know!)

I really would not bother registering all the variants as there is one or two just register the .co.uk and say the .com if you must, how much is he charging you for hosting and to register these domains?

Be careful with 1&1 they carry on charging even if you cancel your contract with them for both the domain and hosting if you use them :( Make sure you read the small print before you sign up with them.
