The steering wheel of the current IS200 can only be adjusted up or down. Should add in a telescopic adjustment like the BMWs.

HP, Torque and fuel consumption should be improved.

Choice of Sportier seats, memory seat buttons, better sound-proofing would be appreciated :D

Tyres that don;t puncture, Sat Nav, Eletric fold in mirrors, Revamp of my leather seats and proper lexux gs300 carpets.

Here's my list thus far ...

memory seats

telescopic adjust steering wheel

more of the switches illuminated

decent paint - not that water based sh!te

door mirrors adjust down when reverse gear selected

some grunt - for dartford tollgate grand prix :)

AND MY BIGGEST GRIPE ...

Mirrors which drain completely when washed. Despite sticking a leather behind the glass and violently wiggling them in and out, there's ALWAYS some water left to fly out and leave drip marks down the car

Use a vacum cleaner to suck out the water. It works!

rca outputs on the back of the factory radio!!!. my rx has the "all in one" radio with the display and a/c controls built together. i can't replace the factory one with anaftermarket one or i'll lose needed controls. I HOPE LEXUS HEADQUARTERS IS READING THIS!!!:flaming::flaming::flaming:

On the mobile phone thing, our nemsis in Munich is putting Bluetooth gizmos in X5, 5 & 7 Series next year (for a price of course).

Basiscally it will discover your mobile in you pocket and use that for all the voice activated dialling and calls via the sound system on hands free. I guess Lexus will follow suit eventually.

Any for my requirement, 250 BHP and better cabin build quality please.

Simple things such as illuminated window buttons - this seems to be an exclusive Japanese problem - does it not get dark in Tokyo? :D

AMEN lexus28160!!!!! I went to Tweeter today and I can't replace my tape deck with a cd player without $3000 of custom work!!! uuurrgghhhhh. I hate how all the controls are in one big unit. But that is my only complaint.

I wanna TV picture on my satnav screen. Lexus did it on the Soarer and BM can manage it.

There seems to be no way to hook a signal in and in production it would have cost less than £50.

had the car exactly a month today and i love it.

but heres my list

1- at least 200bhp on a standard model(refering to the new IS when they decide to release it)

2- better MPG

3- phone holder and or integrated handsfree set

4- better paint

5- better paint finishes ie crazy flip paint or iridescent finishes (alfa do it for 156)

6- more solid feel doors

7- steering could be a little more firm

oh yeah and its got this annoying feature which i found the other day;

my mates find it amusing to keep opening and closing the windows in the car when i drive so i put the window locks on. but i cant even open there windows from my control unit on my door without turning the window lock off.

sounds silly but it makes me mad

A more dynamic dash board.

Its a car for all ages and when we are on this subject may I add that I know 'old men' aged 40 ! They mainly drive Fiestas.

I speak as a senior citizen who enjoys a quick getaway from the lights in my Lexus .
