Is200 80k Service

well my 80k service is due on the car, but as me car hasn't been serviced at Lexus up until now i don't see the point of taking it there to be done.

A friend of the family is going to do it at a resonable price, i just need to know what is included in the 80k service as i want to ensure that it is done correctly.

Im sure one of you knows what is included! :D

i had my 80k done 2wks ago, just under £400, it included

ON RAMP

replace engine oil

replace oil filter

replace coolant

check transmission oil

inspect exhaust

inspect fuel tank

replace diff oil

inspect drive shaft boots

check front & rear suspension

check brake and clutch system pipes & hoses

check & report on brake pads & discs

check & report tyre tread depth

check torque stettings of wheel nuts

OFF RAMP

inspect air filter

check coolant level, strength, all hoses

inspect clutch fluid

inspect brake fluid

check pwr steering fluid

check drive belts for wear & deflection

inspect charcoal canister

check wipers, top up fluid

check brake pedal freeplay, check handbrake travel

check steering wheel freeplay, linkage for wear & security

replace Battery in remote (they didn't do mine as it 'tested ok')

check alarm, power window, moonroof, central locking for correct operation.

check all lights for damage, correct operation alignment-report as necessary

replace aircon filter

chek seatbelts, airbag covers (including side airbags)

check body for abrasions, damage or corrosion perforation - report as necessary

the bill included:-

diff oil 9.81

enviroment protection charge 3.95

consumables 5.00

screenwash 0.83

coolant 14.92

pollen filter 37.62

drain plug gasket 0.76

oil filter 7.39

they reported 'stone chip in windscreen, n/s/f tyre close to wear limit on inner edge, spare tyre close to wear limit on inner edge (i need a geometry done, but cannot find anywear in s.wales!)
