well has you all know i have these forged pistons to go in

got up this morning nice sunny phoned jase and got started

both manifolds are off all electrics out the and there is a;lot off electrics

dropped the prop took the head off just stopped about 6 hours work all that is left drop a few bolts round the gearbox then the engine mounts away we go

will keep updated

btw was nice to do the work my self sfter all the fine work that has gone into my car it is nice that i am starting to under stand the lexus mechanical side abit more

Know the feeling about doing the work yourself. Just started removing the TT's on mine, has been a good W/E weather wise for DIY Repairs

My manuals has never been out as much as they have been over the last couple of days and by doing it yourself, you get to see how thing works a bit better and what is invold. Good Expeirance

but to be fair was not to bad boost will defo be upped once run in

BTW jase picked the easy side off the engine as normal :winky:

we could do with the a tea lady or man if there is any offers :winky: :D

well just a quick update pistons now fitted into block all honed and nice and snug will hire engine hoist friday all being well and all parts are back to me over weekend should be close well see

Daza what are the old ones like, i only ask as your turbo has been running for some time now...................do they still look ok
