Just been trying to take my front calipers off and have broken 2 spaners and a socket set head. have got the top one off but the bottom one still won't budge. both been soaking in wd40 for a while. any suggestions before I go and buy some more spanners

you might be better off with a bolt-splitter mate

Impact driver would be better.

thats how I keep breaking spanners!

cheers for your advice guys. gonna buy me a new spanner (decent one this time) and if I break that I'll try and use an impact driver at a garage

I used a 3ft long breaker bar fitted to a high quality socket, no problems

easy with the right tools :)

did it make a really loud horrible squeek? mine did, almost didnt want to move it anymore incase the head snapped off lol

Bet when you reassemble them you will put some copper slip on them :D
