New Clutch

Recommended Posts

You'll also save a few quid by taking it to someone other than Lexus to do the job. Keep Lexus for the service book stamps, use local garage (or even Toyota if they'll do it - some do - 'cos they should be cheaper than Lexus).

According to the Autodata CD, it should only take 3hours for a clutch in an IS200.

Contact Lexus GB, they will tell you the correct time. If the dealer still sticks to the 5hrs then get Lexus GB to contact them - and watch them jump.

I had my clutch changed last May - don't know how long it took but the labour cost was £250+VAT

Total cost was £513 (incl VAT) for complete clutch assembly fitted by Lexus.
