I Did It! Fitted New Discs.

I actually managed to fit my DBA drilled/slotted front discs. B) Changed the pads too. Usually I'm a bit of a mechanical muppet. :duh: Think I did everything right. OK so found I had the springs left over after doing the first side. Had fun bedding them in up and down a quiet road outside a petrol station. I must have looked a bit suspicious. When a police car pulled into the petrol station I decided to go somewhere else to finish off

Looking forward to seeing what they're really like once I've done a couple of hundred miles.

Thanks to the guys who helped with advice, torque settings etc and those nice peeps at TDI for supplying said items.

grats on the new discs/pads. DBA makes very good discs and I'm sure you'll be very happy with them. (Plus, as an added bonus, also happen to look quite good too!)

Yea. I'd like to try other stuff in future but its a bit of a pain that the only manuals are £150(?!) on CD or something like that :(

I've been following the various debates about pads and eventually took the lazy route and went for EBC green stuff as that's what TDI had.
