Can someone tell me abit more about this product. Saw it on a Japanese website but my Japanese is a bit rusty

Is this a plug and play item?

Does the speed readout digitally in the bottom righ hand corner?

it wont fit, without some serious rewireing, i had to do some re-wireing Just to fit this in the Altezza, its only set up to run with the RS altezzas with an adapter box

how much re-wiring is involved? i think i could take it on with some guidence ;)

depends on the model, on the car i sold to Zee, the problem was the illumination for part of the cluster, as Zees car doesnt have the cluster dimmer, i had to rewire illumination to feed the second half of the cluster

So if your car has the dimmer control down near your knee on the left, you could install this?

Actually I was under the impression that these TRD dials are priced considerably more than GBP300 (400-ish). That said, if you guys can get it for 300, then I foresee me shipping several over here and making a tidy profit (which will in turn fund my IS modding! ;))

You may be correct! I think I might have been thinking about the price in japan being about £300 then its vat and customs on top??

Suddenly remembered where I got my TRD meter pricing from.

Priced at HKD5488 = GBP370, and that's in HK where there are virtually no import taxes

Digital speed? Really? I thought it was just for the autos - it's where it displays the gear isn't it?

And here's an English link about the instrumentation cluster. Not a lot of info tho - mentions they don't remove the speed limiter. I assume it doesn't reset the odo??
