At last the day has come, pick up my black IS 200 SE about 3 o'clock .I have been looking forward to this day for 2 weeks ,how should i celebrate. :D

At last the day has come, pick up my black IS 200 SE about 3 o'clock .I have been looking forward to this day for 2 weeks ,how should i celebrate. :D

i was like you last week when i collected mine...celebrate by using a tank of fuel whilst driving everywhere and anywhere, take some of your fav CD's, and drive via your mates's whilst feeling very pleased with yourself, then when you park it up (tuck your mirrors in, it's ok to do this when your neighbours are looking), constantly look out of the window at it, if you feel like it, grab a digi camera and take loads of multi angle shots, needlessly open the bonnet and look at the engine, take your time, encourage passers by to have a look. unless you can resist, go for some more driving, sometimes turn your music off, just to listen to the smoothness, wait 'til it gets dark to go for some more driving just to test out the red dash lights. ponder about standing guard when it's parked up at night, or, as before, keep looking at it from the window/outside/in garage.

DAY 2:-washing/waxing/cleaning day (min 1/2day).. keep checking if anyone needs anything from the shops and immediatley offer to drive there for them, if nobody wants anything, convince them or yourself you need to drive somewhere, ban all fastfood/kids/drinks/fags/passengers from the car, think up excuses to prevent dads/brothers/mates from 'having a spin.'

DAY3:- the beginning of the 'modifying' period begins, you start to spend any non-car time on the net looking at all things lexus. You wonder how long it will take to save for a supercharger.

by DAY4:- you realise that you can never drive anything other than YOUR pride and joy, you will love and cherish it so much, your other half starts to get jealous, but don't worry this is all normal..............................so welcome and enjoy, and keep on waxing :D
