Lexus Back In Touring Cars.

Quote......

"On the BTCC newcomer front, it was a mixed weekend. HPI Racing with Friends Reunited ran the Richard Williams Lexus for the first time on Saturday morning, and endured a difficult first day, with niggling problems limiting the running that they were able to do. However on Sunday, the car and driver made good progress on what is a very steep learning curve. The addition of a second car for Ian Curley at Thruxton can only help."

Two cars next race....wicked :winky:

shame really. I wouldn't have thought that the IS would have been the obvious choice for a fast touring car. They had been in it before hadn't they and did badly!!

Too heavy and not enough gunt, and if they are penalised for a turbo and rear wheel drive, they may as well go home.

Everyone else uses small and light front wheel drive cars for a reason you know!!!

Still, hope they do well, and I wish HPI had some decent high res photos too for us to nab!!

Video clip of the second race here ....

(22MB)

do you have the whole race m8?

Yup, it's about 2Gb at the moment. The Lex didnt make it back out enven though it was on pole position. Hence why I stopped the encode at that point.

It's repeated at 03:05 on 14 April if you want to record it.
