Rocker Cover Advise

If i were to remove my rocker cover to undertake some "cosmetic" work - is there anything i need to buy to replace? for example a gasket? as i have never done it before?

if it is a rubber gasket u can normally get away with reusing it otherwise its a new gasket.

thought you might have had that on the cards well if your going to that expense why not splash out on a new seal

far too much effort to polish myself!! lol would take a month.

I now have 4 x 30hp 3 phase polishing machine at my disposal! (plus the skills to do the work too, lol)

does anyone have the part number for the gasket?

thats true, somewhere between the coil packs and wires that is - and it will soon be covered up when i get an engine cover
