New Eu Regulations.

Tough new EU regulation are going to sweep across the MOT test , i big clamp down on after market parts for cars, none factory/dealer fitted body kits, lamp units and a ban on tinted windows.

1) all front and rear lamp units must be factory fitted.

2) All tinted glass to be band over 30%.

3) Body kits need to be type approved, so only main dealers parts can be used.

This has been done in conjunction with the insurance industry, to help make insurance claims quicker .

This is nothing new - all aftermarket parts should have a 'E' stamp to be legal now anyway... including lights/bodykits etc...

and you think your MoT station will crawl over the car looking for E marks?

im currently dismantaling a set of front and rear lights to spray the chrome parts black and then put back on the car! will these be ok, surely the lights still have the E mark stamped into the unit! :duh: This is confusing :duh:
