my cars in for its 2year service on friday and i get a choice of is200 auto or manual, i dont want to be tempted by getting an is300 or rx300 for the day, ill oly end up buying one if i do.

Do you guys get a choice? I've never had that privilege, guess they don't do it down in London.

I agree, as much as I'd love it, I'd hate it more to be given a brand new IS300 and then have to give it back at the end of the day!

dont wait to be offered just ask :winky:

I wouldn't mind trying an auto, im a virgin in that sense. Not 100% sure how to drive them to be honest

start in P

foor on the brake

move selector to D

drive

stop

foot on brake

apply handbrake

move selector to P

remove key

about all there is to it mate - you wont have a problem

Kazdul, once this has sunk in, Matt will move onto Lesson 2 - Reversing

Ha ha, I drove my friends Frontera which I know is completely different to an RX but it just felt so unstable and the centre of gravity was none existant!!

Be like driving a mini bus!! :D

Think I'll go with the majority on this then, RX will probably be my choice should I be offered.

Cheers guys, interesting to know I've provoked some interest in the topic.
