Ps2 Steering Wheels

Recommended Posts

always wanted a decent steering wheel for playing driving games, but when I last looked at them a few years back, they were crap to be honest.

I've been looking around today on special reserve.com, and theres a new official one coming out for GT4. it features 900 degree steering rotation (like a real car) and rack and pinion steering, along with a gear shifter, pedals and force feedback. BUT it costs 90 bloody quid.

Theres a cheaper one, the offical one for GT3, but it doesnt include the above features (at least the advertising bumph doesnt, apart from the force feedback).

Does anyone here use steering wheels for driving games?

Ive got the GT3 version of the steering wheel the `cheaper` one....ive also looked at the newer version, but like you at £90 its not cheap

The wheel i have is very good, youve got the force feed back on it,and its the best wheel ive used....the pedals come with it,but its not got the 900 degrees turn or the gear change built into it,so you have to change gears with the buttons on the wheel..i have been trying to see it,ive only used it 6 or 7 times....

Thats the main problem with this wheels....i always end up putting it back in the box after using,so it seems alot of trouble everytime i play it to connect it all up....wheels are ok if youve got the space to keep them....

The cheaper wheel is good enough for the money...

Cheers chips.
