Help!

Hi guys , i need some one to tell how the hell im to get the SUMP of ;) well its of but i can not seem to get it all the way OFF ????????????????

any one that nows how please help

yea it is pete............but all so when you look in side i can see all the bottomend and i done want to just pull it out as i dont know what im going to hit ;) me thinking its a job best done on a ramp

Hmmm.........Mats prolly your best bet m8 as i said i've never taken it off and without seeing it i dont want to give you the wrong advise.

Not sure on IS200... but on the Altezza there are series of bolts around the joining flange, and then small threaded pieces which you have remove with a flat head screw driver, i.e. unscrew the threaded piece out.

Its not clear but if you clean the ends of thos thread/bolt bits you might see slot in the center for flat head driver to undo them...

Might be worth a look..

The sump is of ie all the bolts are of and the sump is just sitting on the cross member...........but like i said i dont want to just pull on it as i dont know what im going to hit i need to know how to get it out from the cross member

It does come off without having to do anything drastic BTW

Thanks guys for all your help :winky: it is now of the car, and bottomend all covered up so no s :tsktsk: t gets to it, now i can start on the sump :winky:
