Eight Speakers?

My IS300 apparently has 8 speakers as opposed to the standard 6 on the 200

For the life of me, I can't locate the extra two

Have I missed the point somewhere??

rear speakers are double units not 2 way but 2 speakers on top of each other.

How does that work, one on top of the other? Don't suppose there is a picture of such a setup is there?

The fronts are 2-way components.. So thats 4 speakers

The rear 6x9s are 2-ways.. They classed that as total of 4 speakers again :duh:

Thats how they quote 8 speaker system.

at the front u have a tweeter and the speaker in the door so that is 4 in the front total.

the 2 speakers at the rear are not 2 way but are 2 seperate speakers each so that is a total of 4

that is where u get the 8 from.

I got the idea that they were 6*9's on the parcel shelf yeah? If so and there are two at either side, and on top of each other, how are they mounted? And incidentally, how does not block out sound from the speaker underneath?
