Ive just found this site offering this software for tomtom 2 and 3 on pda's

seems you can just enter a postcode to find the address your looking for

should be a nice little app. wish my GS satnav had postcode search :(

No I think its only for the pocket PC versions

Ive just installed this, and wow really works great

saves so much time and is very accurate it seems

well worth the download if you have TomTom 2 or 3 on your pocket PC

If this is the Digitools one then I can recommend it - been using it for about 6 months. Works with full postcode unlike some of the bundled ones which only use the first 4 or 5 characters - gets you almost right to the door.

Note of warning though, the authors website says that ordinance survey have made him take his site down & stop distribution. I expect pocketgps, easydevices and others distributing it will soon pull it as well.

Small rant, OS are also pi**ing me off with the restrictions & prices they put on digital OS maps & programs (Memory Map, Fugawi etc). Seems to be quite a moneyspinner for the Government, selling us what our tax money has already paid for (again). Some other countries (US in particular) provide this information free or at very low cost.
