A rare trip to Leicester left me gutted!! Going through a narrow street and all of a sudden, thud and scrape!!

Upon inspection, my front near side alloy looks like its been chewed up by godzillar!!

Really not happy by it!! :angry:

Sure its happened to alot of us on here.

yup :( happend to me when I pulled over for a fire engine :(

about £50 should see it looking new again tho from those mobile repair guys

so all is not lost

happened to me last night when parking the car. :blush: just hit the kurb with my left back wheel. but this moring (in the light) when i inspect the wheel... i saw a nail in my tire! :angry: lucky me, upon removal of the nail the tire didn't leak... :)

I'd keep you're eye on it. It may start to at some point.

For me Its been one of those months where everythings against me. If its going to go wrong - the its going to be in Feb!! :crying:

just had 18's put on the lex, and now im driving soooooo carefully, trying not to kurb them......have lasted a few days!

was ok before with the 16's, didn't care, drove over kurbs, fences, people..... :lol:

It's not just the alloys u damage though ....... when you start kerbing the alloys, you find that the tracking is also affected, and the allignment of the wheels are out ....... and the IS being as sensitive as it is ........ I'd get it checked ! :ohmy:

:lol: only joking not that bad, don't think i kerbed the standard wheels once, but im just driving real carefully as not to scuff these ones.

i have the tracking being done on saturday anyway, i spent hours last saturday driving about looking for somewhere to do it, and they where all busy :angry:

i just got my (first) lex since jan 29th 2005! so i hope i will end feb without any more kurbing. i hope you do the same mate. :winky:

made a mark on the tire and will keep an eye on it every day.
