My standard IS200 17" alloys are very corroded. Should i pay £250 for them to be refurbished and not have the car for a few days (which would be very awkward), or should i buy new ones???? Any suggestions on new wheels (that will fit) would be appreciated. Stick to 17" though i think.

Cheers guys

If you didn't live so far away you could of borrowed mine until you got yours refurbed.

:)

Cheers, that would have been cool!

Seems a little silly to pay £250 and still have the same wheels doesn't it?

Could have shiny new ones for a bit more!

How old are you wheels mate?

Lexus replaced mine due to corrosion and it was past the 3 year warranty. All i had to pay for was the labour costs... About £100. They replaced all 5 wheels.

So might be worth giving it a go

No probs mate. The Lexus dealer had to phone Lexus GB to see if they would swap them. They said they would as a good public relations thing. Hence having to pay the dealer for labour costs. Also they wouldn't cover the new wheels with any warranty as the original one had expired.
