I have the HORIBLE job of driving the worlds exotica and hopefully making them perform better. Meeting and dealing with members of the Royal Family, and other good, honest and upstanding citizens of the world that share our passion for cars.

But the upside to that is that I have the thoroughy enviable pleasure of responding to emails in a professional manner to idiots that I know are wasting my time

I know this is an old thread but I thought I'd resurrect it so newer members can add their jobs.

I work for a marine insurance company in the City (of London). Can you guess which department? Yep - IT. I'm a senior IT development consultant.

So what's the correlation between Lexus owners and IT jobs? (answers on a postcard)

I work as a Production engineer for a large manufacturing company

so i am a manual worker too not IT

That sounds quality Paul - meet many film stars?

I'm working for CSC at the moment (another IT job), but fancy working abroad for a bit. Might do an internal move but like I told everyone Monday, I want to work for a porn company - they're at the bleeding edge :winky:

Unfortunately I was not party to this conversation on Monday (as I was seated nearer to London than you!). Sounds like a good career move...I didn't know you were a budding actor

You lot were miles away from us, that table was about 8 miles long!

I was telling everyone that I got :tsktsk: ed at work for telling them that I wanted to do a technical role in the porn industry since they're so up-to-date with technology - where else did the first multiple angle DVD's come from :D

As soon as the famous actors are on site, they move to a closed set. Seen some from a distance but not enough for me to be able to talk to.

But have seen the new films being done such as the new Captin Scarlet Film, New 007 & Harry Potter Films.

Will be heading off the Pinewood tomorrow to make some repairs B4 I get shot 4 not finishing a Raid Array
