My neighbour just changed his front disks and pads over the weekend. He was doing it for the first time on his Toyota Avensis. Whilst he was doing it we were talking about this n that.

Anyway it took him less than 1 hour to do both. Makes you wonder what on earth we pay for when we get it done at a dealers ? The job was so easy even I was amazed. I remember doing a disk/pad change on a Pug gti ages ago. I must of spent half a day doing it ! Parts were around £70.

I paid £45 from lexus nottingham for a set of front pads, i fitted them myself, didn't take long at all, been pretty happy with them, I don't experience many problems with them if any, no fade, etc, and i have driven the car pretty hard round country roads, only after its warmed up of course

All parts come in Toyota boxes and have Toyota on them.

Do those pads fit any Toyota models in this country? If not then they are only a 'Lexus' part.

Checked the EPC, they fit nothing else.
