Sat Nav Display

Was travelling to Birmingham and noticed some scrolling lines on my Nav screen in night mode. Checked the brightness and contrast but all was set to default. Is this a common problem? Car is IS200 (2002) Manual.

I've not had this on mine, but have read some threads on here about this before, if the car is still under warranty, Lexus should be able to change the screen for you !

i think i read ( in my hazy drunken life) that it was the ribbon cable connecting the screen to the unit starting to give up the ghost?

Don't know if the ribbon cable causes that problem. That will normally give you intermittent colours etc.

I've seen these lines on other Lexus models. Normally only happens when it's cold for the first few minutes.
