i had my is200 serviced at the local lexus main dealer, been going there for the last 2 yrs. they valet the car, the cleaners stole some change! garage said they were aware of the prob and will investigate! i dont know what else they have stolen during the last 2 years? cds etc??

When I take my car into any garage I always empty it of anything thats not nailed down so they are not tempted to liberate my possessions.

my IS has covered nearly 106k and I had the cambelt changed in jan this year, the actual belt only costs £60 odd quid but its the labour that you have to pay at outrageous amounts per hour.

Ross, don't think Prolex offer services yet, it was an idea for the future, but they could do the install as they have agents around the country.

Don't think any work by Prolex would be viewed as approved by Lexus, just like any other work performed by third party garages.

As for possessions in my car, I just leave everything in it but the bastards snapped an eyebrow in the boot last time it was in so I had to buy a new set :o

John did you get it changed at a Lexus dealer,i think i would have used an independent for the cam belt.

it was a lexus dealer pete, but there was a little mishap in my favour which i will tell you about when i see you :ph34r:
