Just as a starters the new discs were very well finished and the venting channels between the discs were larger than the standard ones for better airflow i assume.

Then went on realy well and am fully impressed with the power they have.

Although i did have a worrying momnent when i drove 6 miles from my house to bluewater. Stopped and parked up to find light black smoke pouring from my right wheel!!! ahhh i thought. Called up the RAC who sent someone in 15 mins who basicaly stripped my caliper right down and after 25 mins managed to release the lower sliding pin from the caliper mounting. Now this had never posed a problem with the old discs as they were thinner obviously.

But with the new pads the lack of sliding had forced the pad against the disc for the whole journey.

In 40 mins it was all back together good as new free spinning etc and perfect again. And after covering 30 miles they were put to the ultimate test - some idiot slamming his brakes on whilst having an arguement with his wife.

They stopped me in no time and much better than the normal discs ever were and they still are not fully worn in.

In the end they cost me £76 for the pair and £42 for the pads.

will try and take some asap, they are not drilled or anything but they do look a lot nicer than the rusted look of the standard ones! hehehe.
