NX450h pre-heater noisy

Now the weather is getting colder I have set the climate schedule via the app to pre-heat the car.

I've found this doesn't always come on but when it does it's particulary noisy, sounds like a truck idling on the drive.

Does anyone elses make this kind of noise?

I have a Mitsubish Outlander that pre-heats but it's silent.

I don't know if I have an issue with the car or if that's just the way it is?!

Our NX350h runs at a fast idle while preheating. It is a bit noisy but not excessively so. When I has a BMW X5 with preheat, this was provided by a separate fuel burning heater rather than the main engine being started and was a bit quieter.
