LV Insurance renewal refusal

My insurance renewal is about to expire next month and I have just received notification LV will no longer cover me on the ES. Anyone else had this? Any recommendations for an alternative company? I have 9 years protected no claim bonus.

Hi, I had the same issue with LV for my RX. I ended up moving to AVIVA, however I think that others have suffered similarly with them. Probably worth using the comparison sites to get started. Good luck…

 Darwin wouldn't insure my new NX 350H. I wonder if it's something in the insurance algorithm based on stealabilty of some Lexii ?

LV sent me a renewal quote for my ES six weeks ago, and although it was an increase on the previous year it wasn't anywhere near as bad as l was expecting. I finished up changing to AA insurance and had cause to claim with them shortly after. Up to now everything has been handled very well.

Not so reassuring...I'm sure Lexus are working flat out with car insurers to sort this issue out...which is what I'd be doing if it was my product at stake....my UX cost me almost twice as much to insure compared to my old 325i...I'm hoping that will reduce next year and beyond😉

It's all a con to cheat and rob you.    -   I don't know what the strategy is nowadays for insurance/finance companies. They all seem to have turned into untrustworthy charlatans. Ordinary folk are just ducking and diving from Scams, sharks, exploitative companies, crooks, cheats etc. It's got to a point where common sense = do not trust anyone or anything unsolicited especially on your phone or computer.  Read the Ts and Cs - you must be joking - 20 pages of legalese with hidden traps. No thanks.  Dystopian nightmare anyone?  AND the weather has been awful - Doh! Such a shame that this is the sad way of things nowadays. 🤧

LV also turned down insuring my RX. I'd been with them for 20 years, so loyalty doesn't come into it. Luckily, Aviva were there to take my business. I'll be moving my wife's insurance to Aviva when it's due, LV have lost our custom forever.

Try Admiral, I have just insured my RCF reasonable price and included windscreen cover. It's worth noting that a lot are excluding this cover.
