Alarm in case of keying

I have a Lexus UX250 model 2023. It is equipped with Vehicle Security System.

Will the alarm detect if someone tries to key it?

I'm no expert...but would say it depends on whether or not the car's 'stability' is affected...for example if excessive movement is detected.  Personally, I would always try to park it in a public space, as opposed to some dark corner down a backstreet.  It's a pain to have to consider such options, but I guess it comes with the territory when you buy a Lexus😉
