Good stuff, stick to the plan. I do the frontal assault with psychobabble whilst you sneak in behind with your trustee walking stick.

D day reinvented as G(eriatic) day.

I really hope it's possible to be a Lexus owner and  not a Daily Mail reader

So do I. Had enough of that on the Merc forum.

At the greatest risk of showing my naivety what is "a Daily Mail reader"? Honest question, I have no idea.

Probably someone who has no sense of irony.

I see, so akin to "make America great, vote Trump".

Easy to bash any ruling party. Trouble is nobody can point to a year when all can agree it actually was great, nor who our last super government was.

My point exactly.

"Point to a year" Starting there . 1954."All" in this case would be my entire fan club. I know ,because I just asked her and she nodded (in her sleep).

On a more serious note. "Easy", strictly speaking the easiest thing to do is inarguably simply nothing. Say nothing ,take no action. Even taking the time and energy to talk ,or complain ,etc requires more effort. Moving on, whilst "great" is a word thrown around, I think most people wanting change are more likely to be aspiring to something that was simply better that they feel they have lost. Sticking with the latter "all" people in the loosest sense might be able to find a year they preferred to the one they are in and even if that was not the same year for everybody they might still be in agreement they were better years than the current one.

If you were alluding to the idea that complaining is often easier than solving when it comes to managing and resolving issues then in that I would agree. Hence, my use of the word "necessarily" just in case that is what you really meant.
