Both my seat belts are very lazy to retract. They go back with a bit of help but don't wind back on their own.

Is there a fix for this, or am I looking at replacements?

Sometimes it's as simple as pulling them all the way out quite vigorously and letting them retract. Repeat a few times. If not there quite a few helpful videos on Youtube.

If they are dirty and greasy then giving them a clean will help , also a possible build up of clothing fluff in the belt mechanism.

My other car a 3 door Rav4 had a slow drivers belt, I blasted an airline around the belt mechanism, worked much better afterwards..had a big cloud of dust and fluff 😝

Believe it or not I had the same problem. I pulled them out as far as possible, had them outside the car, shut the door and jet washed them with car shampoo. Let them dry and now all sorted, retracting nicely.
