Servers down - no charging

Hi, 

So with the servers down this morning my car obviously has not charged. Is there any way to get an alert from the app if servers are down, that way i could presumably remove the charge schedule so that it would have been on permanent charge? Supposed to be in office today which is 30 miles away so haven't been able to get there!!!

Only had it 3 weeks so complete novice to this

If the servers are down then the app can’t tell you they are. I definitely wouldn’t rely on Lexus Link to schedule a charge. I use my charger app which is more reliable or a bit of a faff and use the in-car scheduler. 
In my experience even the preheat fails quite regularly, which I put down to a signal issue. I’m not sure which network Lexus sim’s use, but it’s unreliable in my location.
