Hey Folks,

My driver seat on my IS30h F-sport is starting to feel hard and the cover are quite a bit scuffed.

I've looking at replacement seats.  Needs to be electric.

The question is the F-sport seats the same as the non-F-sports?

Even the rear sets have a few scratches on them courtesy of the child seat!

For that i will just get the correct colour code leather dye cream.

Instead of replacing the entire seat have you considered just reupholstering them. Im sure you will be able to find some shop locally. If sourcing replacement seats i would definitely recommend buying like for like you should be able to find the same on eBay or at a breaker. Pretty sure the fsport seats are different design wise at least.

With regards to re-colouring most recolouring balm / creams  may not work as well or might take loads of applications to get the desired result because they are meant for absorbent leather and even if your leather is real and absorbent  my understanding is that most leather seats are factory coated with a layer of flexible lacquer to seal the colour in which make the seats less absorbent also. Rather you could consider leather paint to refurb your seats. Something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Leather-Repair-Colourant-Suitable-Handbag/dp/B09HXDMVS9/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=12DL469760DMO&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.CtuXNRBpXtLxf_oZJVNQb3m9BafwBlBxoc8EXKn9PirvCuFW9Q0lJpf_FzifqQMliiUWtwVuIWntWvI4HVeN6iecog57o7kmRN6vY9QGk0TBbgscojt1OYba0Pa0xDH-vHF5SGhjN0GeSSobIlSmdel5T_A_rkr3voW_Q7EOn4aEU8YJoGP4-Ofx44CEXR-QpT__4SOF5ivzCPdlgciM2w.AZL6SknVy4Q_Pm5RX0cpWNpHIpB12xISl1hq8Uuzemk&dib_tag=se&keywords=leather%2Bpaint&qid=1732118524&sprefix=leather%2Bpaint%2Caps%2C97&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1&th=1 You can DIY this with a sponge but you need to prep the surface really well by cleaning it thoroughly and even using specific solvents to remove the lacquer coating.
