I have a IS250C, 2010 with only 34,000 on the clock, full history, with recent services by Lexus.  I am only the second owner, so it’s in good nick!  I have just had a problem, or problems, with the centre screen etc and would be grateful for advice.  Firstly, the ‘beep’ has gone despite it, apparently, being switched on on the control panel.  More importantly, all audio functions have disappeared- neither the radio or the CD etc work (won’t switch on) and even the audio adjustment screen (the one with fade, balance etc) show the sliders but no controls.  Bluetooth also seems defunct.  Satnav works as does climate.  Any idea please?  The tyre pressure warning light is also on, but I assume this is a separate issue with the sensor.  When I locked it up yesterday all was well, when I switched it on, it wasn’t.  I’ve looked a the fuse diagram but can’t see one which connected everything (althoug hi will check physically in the morning).  Thanks for any help.

Have you checked the pressure in the tyres..?

Yes, unfortunately it made no difference.  The handbook says that if the light comes on immediately and stays on, it is a problem with tyre pressure, but if the flashes initially, then stays on this implies a fault with the sensor so see a dealer.

I suppose the Battery in the sensor is now 8 years old and one may well have failed. Although obviously more expensive,  it might be best to have them all replaced at the same time, as the other sensor batteries can't be far behind

Do your tyres need replaced soon...? If so, might be a good thing to get all work completed at the one time...increasing the cost,  but decreasing the hassle

Hi malcolm,

There should be a 10amp fuse in the interior right-side fuse box under the dash which controls "Audio", fuse No.6 at the bottom of the longest row.

Additionally there are two 30amp fuses in the engine bay fuse box just in front of the Battery which are listed as Audio (Radio No.1 and Radio No.2)

I would try the interior fuse as a starting point.

Best of luck.

Thanks Dec - I’ll check the fuses as soon as possible - I didn’t have time today.  And thanks also Ronnie - funnily enough, the Battery has run flat on a couple of occasions over the last couple of months because I didn’t use the car.  I might try giving it a proper charge over 24 hours and see if that makes any difference.

After Having Read Your Comments Its DEFINATELY The 12v Battery That's Causing Your Problems I Suspect A Few of the Cells in The Battery Are  " BAD " Past the Point of No Return...You Need a new Battery to Correct This.. My advice.. Get it Replaced and Installed at Your Lexus Dealership Who will Check all The Car / Battery Dynamics ....Also consider a DB2 Tracker Which also monitors The Daily Charge of both Your Batteries  ( Rewire Security ) Cheers..!!

check on that Web page,  however I think it just monitors the charge level of the Battery. (And records basic journeys and the position of of your car when parked)

For more extensive Battery testing you need  something like this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/GYS-TBP-100-Battery-batteries/dp/B001U1XNTS/ref=rvi_d_sccl_30/257-5536628-6127312?

as mentioned by another member on here recently....above my pay grade, but perhaps someone else will post a solution
