Proactive Driving Assist

Recommended Posts

Had my LBX for a few weeks and used dynamic cruise control at times on a weekend trip of 400 miles. I found it to be an excellent system, keeping the car in the middle of the lane; my previous car (a Qashqai) tended to wander in the lane. The systems in the car takes some getting used to - now I'm back to shorter distances I've found that the dynamic cruise control symbol on the HUD in green even though it's switched off. Also, when approaching a roundabout and a car is in front it automatically brakes or if there is a parked car in front. Presumably this is the Proactive Driving Assist but can I turn it off? I hadn't noticed either of these things prior to the weekend but as I said, a lot of features to get used to. Any advice appreciated.

The green symbol with ‘hands’ on it is the lane assist and that’s usually on, you can turn any system off by pressing the button with the 6 dots on it (by ‘Climate’) and scrolling left. The pro drive assist tile is on the last screen. You can lower it’s sensitivity by going into settings and clicking on ‘Driver assist’ I think.
