The Journey - LS 460 new in 2007 to LS600HL old 2009 in 2024

I was an owner of a brand new LS460 in 2007 and enjoyed every 'purring' moment of driving the vehicle until circumstances changed and it had to go in 2009.

Life moves on so Hondas, Volvos and RAV4's, all new, were the go to cars. Age brings time to reflect particularly on vehicle depreciation and the need to for a comfortable drive.

Then earlier this year my memory cells were reactivated to the joy of the Lexus drive. Looked out for a vintage LS460 and stumbled on a 2009 LS600HL, 4 wheel drive, hybrid with only 61,000 miles!

Good price, no more eye dropping depreciation, and a vehicle which looked like it had just come out of the showroom. I have already driven over 10,000 miles with an annoying (to some!) smile on my face.

Hopefully it outlasts me and inheritance tax is not applied!
