Hi guys my is250 was feeling a bit sluggish and got CEL with code p0174 so I bought a denso O2 sensor and had a mobile mechanic fit it for me Friday (bank2 sensor 1) it was done by taking the Battery out for access. After he left I then went to take my kids home and noticed the red p/s symbol and then realised I had no power steering. I understand the power steering module is under the Battery. The mechanic came out again today but he could not do it ( I had to get my mum to come here for him as I had to be in work so wasn't here at the time). I be spoken to him and he said that my angle sensor needs resetting but his computer wouldn't let him do it but he will come back tomorrow and try a different computer

My questions is does this seem right? The mechanics a decent guy he's not a cowboy and he fitted my fuel pressure sensor for me a couple months ago with no problems

It's just my luck a simple o2 sensor has now left me without a car for 4 days I really need it for work badly especially with Christmas coming up and have to take another day off tommorow and Tbh I don't even think this is going to work sorry for the essay lol

Cheers guys

You will soon sort it out, it is very tight down there. No cable length, and the clips are a knightmare.

Should I clean them aswell I did ask if he put the clips in and he said definitely
