Well, it’s been a long time a-coming…..3 months to be exact.  After 5 return trips of at least 4 hrs per round trip to my ‘local’ Lexus dealer, I think I’ve finally got the car I thought I bought in the first place.  It’s had 1 new rear view drivers door mirror, 2 new front tyres and 2 new driveshafts.  Hate to think what that lot would’ve cost me had I paid for it all at a main Lexus dealer....£2.5K?? Of course, I shouldn’t have had to make any such return trips since picking the car up🤔🤔 The UX now feels ‘tight’, with a bit of go to match, no juddering, and….wait for it….a full tank of fuel and a new tracker fitted😉😉🙂🙂🙂 If I have one little bugbear…and I’ve had this every single time I’ve collected my car(s) from a garage….why can’t I have my car(s) returned with the same settings (seat/display/mirrors/radio station….you name it) 🙄

Take a look in the UX forum Mark...it's well publicised, and a long story...how I kept my patience I don't know...I could have rejected it..but gave the dealer the benefit of the doubt...bloke buys a Lexus from a main dealer....all is not right with it from the start....bloke contacts the dealer....dealer's left hand does not know what the dealer's right hand is doing....bloke is inconvenienced by having to make an excessive number of return trips at at least 4 hours a time....bloke finally gets the car he should have had 3 months later...'nuff said🤔😉😉

I think those settings are lost when the mechanic wants to hear his favourite station and then takes a testdrive changing seat mirror and what else and never ever returns them to the original position?
